Mandy narrates a new video about the history of Creede Repertory Theatre. Mandy performed at the Creede Repertory Theatre in 1971 and continues to be a supporter of the theatre (including performing at a benefit concert in Dallas for Creede Repertory Theater during his last tour.) Description: "To celebrate the spirit and magic that the Creede Repertory Theatre has embodied since 1966, a historical documentary film has been created. It is available on VHS now. It includes how 12 students from Kansas University answered a letter from the Junior Chamber of Commerce to create a new type of theatre in Creede. Their foresight in starting an entity to draw tourist dollars into town is what eased the transition for the community when the mines closed for good in 1985. The documentary includes not only the history, but also a behind the scenes look at the theatre, and how the dedication of many individuals has sustained the type of quality theatre we see here today.
