Comments: I thoroughly enjoy listening to Mandy and his extraordinary talent and range. The first time I heard him sing "Over the Rainbow" I was hooked. He should do more concert tours in the Midwest. If there ever was a man with a voice like an angel, it has to be Mandy Patinkin. The "Three Tenors" can eat their hearts out when Mandy is singing. I am a tenor myself and I think of Mandy as someone to look up to instead of Pavarotti or Carreras. Best wishes. More Broadway stuff please!

Comments: I was introduced to this man by my daughter(Sarah) when she was only 15 years of age. In Jan of 96 we met him out in front of the Theater. My daughter asked himto sing with her. This has always been her dream! He took her by her arm and brought her back into the stage area. He took her hands into his and that sang "Move On". On the way home, Isaid to her "Well Sarah, now what you have reached that goal?" Her statement was "I'm not done yet I will perform with him on stage on day!" She is not 21 and an actress. On her resume she has that she sang with Mandy.

Comments: I saw Mandy when he was in Detroit a couple years ago and loved his show. I am anxiously awaiting his return to Detroit. Will he be here any time soon? I see from surfing the web that Mandy will be in Akron next spring. I'd love to see him there, but it is just too far.

I think Mandy Patinkin is one of the greatest performers around. His voice is like an instrument -- fine tuned and constantly changing.

Comments: We saw Mandy's show in December, 1997 in Indianapolis. This was my only request for my birthday. It was well worth it. I found both my husband and I have become fans. What a terrific show and all with only voice and piano as instruments. We were blown away. I could never hope for a reply but it was truly one of the best shows we have seen and would happily go again, but WOULD opt for better tickets. We look for Mandy and his work in other areas. I would like to request he include a medley he performed on Chicago Hope (Randy Newman's She's just a Girl/And the Band Played On." I cried for half an hour.

Susan was stricken at 35 with a stroke, and she remains house-ridden most of the time due to the resulting paralysis. A very tough time for a lady who was so active and outgoing. One of her enjoyments is television where she first spied Mandy. His singing gives her an emotional lift, and so, for a short time, she can forget her handicap as she listens. Comments: We saw the review of Mamaloshen in the Jewish Chronicle (UK). The CD is not yet available here in Australia, so we ordered a copy over the net through CD Universe. This arrived a few days ago - and we have not stopped playing it since.

What a beautiful collection of musical pieces and Mandy, as you can imagine, has some breathtaking solos, duets, and trios. I remember the book from my childhood and never thought of seeing a play because I thought it would ruin my memories. Wrong! Comments: I have had the honor of attending four of Mandy's concerts in 1997 [Syracuse, NYC, Phila., & Baltimore.] What a magnificent performer! But when he sang "Rock-a-bye Your Baby with a Dixie Melody" I stood there with tears streaming down my face. I have never been so moved by any other performer. I love the complexity of his CD's. They make you listen, really listen, and when you do each time you'll hear something you missed before. "Mamaloshen" is another star in his crown. I have a friend who had surgery and follow-up radiation for cancer of the palate at Johns Hopkins. During that time she discover Dr. Jeffrey Geiger. She never missed "Chicago Hope" because "I knew in spite of all the pain and despair Mandy would always make me laugh." There is no greater gift than the gift of laughter. Comments: I saw Mandy perform in Los Angeles in 1996. It was spectacular. After the performance he posed for pictures, signed autographs, and talked to fans. What an extraordinary person he is! I saw him again in 1996 in Dallas at the Morton Myerson performance hall. A truly memorable concert. Anyone who has not seen Mandy in concert is missing one of the great performers of our time. This website is fabulous! Thanks to all involved who put it together!
